With this baking mix you can bake a lot of peppanuts. Peppanuts are the most delicious ginger nuts that dapeppa knows.

Tips to make your peppernuts even better:

  • Melt some chocolate and dip your homemade ginger nuts in the chocolate. Let the chocolate cool.
Ingredients

WHEAT flour, sugar, LUPINE flour (toasted), raising agent: E450i, E500ii, glucose syrup (dried), dextrose, invert sugar syrup, whey permeate (MILK), salt, gingerbread spices and aniseed.

Method of preparation

What do you need?
- 250 g dapeppa's peppanuts baking mix
- 100 grams of soft butter
- 25ml milk or water
- Baking paper and an oven

Do it yourself
1. Put on an apron because real bakers get dirty.
2. Mix the ingredients together with 100 grams of soft butter and 2 tablespoons of milk with your hands.
3. Knead everything into a ball of dough. Make small balls (1.5 cm) of this and place them on a baking tray with baking paper. Leave about 3 cm space between the balls.
4. Bake the peppanuts in a preheated oven (170 degrees) for about 15-18 minutes.
5. Remove the peppanuts from the oven. Do not eat immediately, but let them cool down for half an hour first. If you succeed.

Tip from the Baking Piet:
First make a roll of the dough (the bakers call it a pill) and cut pieces of it that you place on the baking tray.
